Microsoft Federal personnel can expect to serve in various roles in the Microsoft Federal organization during the course of their career to meet evolving USG needs, regardless of segment – Civilian, Defense, or intelligence community.The Federal Growth team focuses on enterprise solutions revenue opportunities within the Federal ecosystem in the federal market. The United States Federal Marketing Leader works on marketing strategy development and contributes to the vision and strategy for the marketing team, writes marketing framing/vision memos and creates user stories, and communicates marketing strategy to internal and external customers. They also identify product release criteria, customer acquisition, usage, retention, and monetization strategies. The United States Federal Marketing Leader will uncover, assess, and prioritize current and future opportunities while working directly with the customer, internal organizations within Microsoft, the Federal government and the Microsoft Federal ecosystem. The United States Federal Marketing Leader of this visible business should have experience working with federal systems integrators and should be deeply familiar with the organizational makeup, core missions and strategies of these companies.The United States Federal Marketing Leader will be responsible for really all things integrated marketing. Someone who can show experience from driving demand and creating buying signals and driving that to revenue as well as helping support the sales team in a cohesive way. Also leveraging technological experimentation data and analytics to facilitate the execution of marketing strategies and prepares the team to capitalize on these marketing technology opportunities.Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience.4+ years people management experience.Other QualificationsCitizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 9+ years integrated marketing (e.g., campaign planning and execution, digital marketing), event management, program management, marketing operations (including campaign reporting and analysis), or related work experience.5+ years people management experience.Marketing experience supporting Federal Government customers.Responsibilities
