$50,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to join our collaborative team at Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres and its lobbying partner, Point of Difference Strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Assistant will support CFDB’s marketing activities and events for the Firm and individual attorneys. This is a newly created role for the Firm. This position requires an eager individual with a strong work ethic and the desire to learn and grow in an entrepreneurial environment. Duties/Responsibilities Support preparation of pitch decks and RFPs, including tracking attorney experience. Support the Firm’s external website by publishing content, including attorney bios, client alerts and news stories. Maintain comprehensive events and editorial calendar, updating and sharing with the Firm as needed. Update and maintain the Firm’s contact list and, eventually, the content management system (CRM). Assist Marketing Director with the drafting and production of internal and external communications, including newsletters, invitation content, surveys, announcements, social graphics, and other communications as needed. Facilitate award and event activities and attendance, including coordinating ad creation. Coordinate and attend events as needed. Support other assignments and projects as needed. Required Skills/Abilities Residency in the Chicago area required, with mandatory in-office presence. Established proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, and WordPress Demonstrated creativity, resourcefulness and innovation, with superior attention to detail. Flexible and intuitive, able to take initiative, interpret directions, and proactively identify informational gaps. Proven exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and project management skills, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Proven strong work ethic and a deep desire to succeed. Able to maintain confidentiality. Flexible to work overtime when needed. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required; relevant work experience may be considered. Proven experience in marketing or other relevant support experience. Experience working within law firm marketing is a plus. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Periodic prolonged periods of standing. Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
