Hoop Brothers is seeking a creative videographer to capture vertical, social media-style content at a basketball event in Dubuque, IA on May 10th. This includes player interviews, warm-ups, game highlights, and candid behind-the-scenes footage. We’re also looking to build an ongoing relationship for future events in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Film vertical videos at 1080p / 60fps with a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
- Capture dynamic, engaging moments before, during, and after games.
- Conduct short player interviews (30–40 seconds) and gather candid team content.
- Take a mix of photos and short clips for live and post-event social media use.
- Upload all raw footage to the provided Google Drive folder after the event.
Requirements:
- DSLR or mirrorless camera capable of 1080p / 60fps (vertical shooting).
- External mic preferred for cleaner interviews.
- Good eye for storytelling and trendy, fast-paced content.
- Social media awareness and creativity encouraged.
- Must live within 45 minutes of Dubuque, IA and have reliable transportation.
