Role: Image Auditor
The primary responsibility of the Image Auditor is to review all photographs and verify accounting photos to ensure they meet auction and client approval standards. Additionally, the auditor will coach and train photographers on how images should be taken and appear.
Job Responsibilities:
- Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld device or provide information via headset to a co-worker for data entry, including VIN, stock number, dealer ID, make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
- Affix barcode/stock number stickers on each received vehicle.
- Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry; flag 'no key' cars.
- Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone and report any transport damage.
- Take digital images of vehicles upon receipt.
- Provide sale identification windshield codes to drivers during registration/check-in.
- Follow all safety and health procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safety and modeling appropriate behaviors.
- Collaborate with safety leadership to support safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting on sale days by driving vehicles through auction lanes.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Less than 2 years' experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Visual abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of auction and/or vehicle registration experience
Work Environment:
- Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Moderate noise level
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $14.71 to $22.12, depending on location, experience, and skills. Additional compensation such as commissions or incentives may apply.
