Job Description
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Near Edgerton, KS
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $40$50 per hour
Caseload: Elementary & Middle School
Duration: 2024-2025 School Year (Extension to Next Year)
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential speech and language services to students in an elementary and middle school setting. This role is ideal for an SLP passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in the classroom. The position is full-time for the current school year, with a strong potential for renewal into the next academic year.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy services for students.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the school team.
- Support students with articulation, fluency, language, and social communication skills.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Kansas SLP license (or eligibility).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs are welcome.
- Prior school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
