Looking for a position where you can let your creativity shine? We’re seeking a graphic designer well-versed in motion design to join our small, internal graphic design studio.
As part of a creative team dedicated to supporting a wide variety of healthcare recruitment and marketing efforts, you’ll use your animation skills, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, and attention to detail to deliver artistic solutions to our clients. To thrive in this position, you’ll have experience in:

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, CCHCS, Human Resources (HR), Employment and Outreach, Workforce Development Unit, the Graphic Design Analyst performs the more complex design work in the creation and development of recruitment marketing materials to support CCHCS’ efforts to recruit and retain quality health care professionals and ancillary staff.

Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager (SSM) I, CCHCS, Human Resources (HR), Employment and Outreach, Workforce Development Unit, the Graphic Design Analyst performs the less complex design work in the creation and development of recruitment marketing materials to support CCHCS’ efforts to recruit and retain quality health care professionals and ancillary staff.
This position is located in Human Resources (HR), which delivers innovative programs and services that attract, cultivate, and serve a diverse, highly-qualified workforce. California Correctional Health Care Services’ HR professionals provide outstanding customer service, provide tools and resources for job development and advancement, and ensure fairness and accuracy in all aspects of HR.

Working Conditions
About the location – Headquarters, Elk Grove.
Located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi, the progressive city of Elk Grove offers a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities. You will enjoy working at our campus-style office complex with free parking, and perhaps even call Elk Grove home.
The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Desirable Qualifications
In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Experience in graphic design, marketing, and/or recruiting. Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite. Enjoys and is experienced in creating animation for social media marketing efforts.
