Description
General Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of clerical tasks to support library operations. Assist patrons with general inquiries; help locate materials; provide guidance on equipment usage. Additional duties include processing check-ins and check-outs; data entry; organizing and shelving materials; and managing holds. The role also involves opening and closing the library or designated areas; handling correspondence, and compiling information for reports. Tasks are completed following standard procedures, with routine issues resolved independently and more complex concerns escalated to senior staff.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Associate degree; two (2) years' of academic library experience; knowledge of library management systems (ExLibris). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; have an understanding of library circulation processes. Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
