The successful candidate will teach an equivalent of 15 weighted teaching units (WTUs) each semester (i.e., a full-time position) and oversee Daily Titan business operations. Position Responsibilities Oversee the advertising, marketing, and distribution teams. Ensure all new student team members are properly trained. Coordinate the financial and operational aspects of the Daily Titan. Attend sales and marketing trainings and process paperwork for student scholarships. Conduct regular check-ins with student team members. Support sales and marketing teams by setting sales goals and holding regular meetings. Work closely with the student employee accountant on financial reports. Coordinate with university departments and organize student workshops. Submit budget proposals and ensure successful operation of the publication. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and effective communication with various stakeholders. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in mass communication/advertising or a closely related field. Three or more years of professional experience in advertising, advertising sales, or a related field. Proficiency in assessing media pricing and updating marketing materials. Dedication to leading and mentoring students. Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and coordinating expenses. Familiarity with advertising or sales software such as CRM databases. Ability to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders. Aptitude for addressing and resolving issues promptly.
