We require our employees to be in the office Mon-Thurs, with Fridays remote. This position can be located in Boston, MA or Toronto, CAN.At Wayfair, our Global Supplier Technology team is responsible for providing the vision, analysis, and execution necessary to delight suppliers with world-class experiences on our Partner Home platform. We are organized into small, focused, fully-resourced, and empowered teams to operate with the speed and focus of a startup, while benefiting from the resources of an established eCommerce leader.We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial product leader to spearhead our Catalog Product Content and Discovery team. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for building a scalable platform to manage descriptive data for Wayfair’s catalog for the purposes of supplier and customer presentation.Reporting to Associate Director, Catalog Foundations, this individual will collaborate with partners across the company to bring global solutions to fruition. The scope is broad with high potential for growth and impact to enable our customers to find and purchase the products they want.What You’ll Do:Develop the vision and roadmap for Product Content and Discovery, based on your understanding of technology trends, data, customer and supplier needsBenchmark market leaders, best in class technologies, and business stakeholder needs to identify significant improvement opportunities and/or solutionsEvangelize your vision within your team and across WayfairWork shoulder to shoulder with your cross-functional team to deliver the visionFoster a trusting, high-performing, and fun culture with missionary-like focus on customer valueWhat You’ll Need:You’ve spent 5+ years leading cross-functional product teams to amazing outcomesYour manager or team members have complimented your accountability and organizationYou are a master at problem breakdown and guiding groups through structured decision makingYou love testing and experimentation and have built roadmaps based on tests and experimentsYou are data-obsessed: you monitor your KPIs and perform ad hoc analysis to figure out what’s nextYou hold a high bar and grow & develop your team to meet it, and your team likes you for itYour stakeholders praise your communication and collaboration, even though you say “no” to themYou can talk about times you took initiative to achieve goals meaningful to you or your teamWayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home.
