UKG is seeking a Field Marketing Manager on our Demand Generation Team to support our Public Sector Customer Base sales team. You will help build and execute integrated field campaigns that include in-person tradeshows and events, virtual experiences, direct mail, and ad-hoc sales requests to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate opportunities and nurture existing relationships.
The Field Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving success for UKG by generating leads for sales. You will collaborate with sales executives, focusing on selling UKG solutions to Public Sector organizations across the U.S. Your responsibilities include working closely with other field marketers, the demand gen team, industry marketing team, creative, web, and marketing operations. Together, we create complementary marketing programs that align with field and corporate resources.

• Manage, accurately forecast, and reconcile public sector field marketing budget (create accurate p-card or p.o. processing, contract execution and timely invoice collection)
• Data-Driven – own, measure, analyze, and report on field marketing activities to understand the contribution to pipeline and influence, to evaluate marketing effectiveness, sales participation, and return on investment.
• Stay on top of new field marketing tactics/programs and share best practices across the team
• Leverage tools to accurately measure and report on effectiveness of field marketing campaigns
• Utilize repeatable processes for field marketing activities and follow-up by sales; provide effective and timely communications with sales teams about program roll-out, results and ROI
• Communicate field marketing plans with sales and BDRs through participation in team calls, leveraging internal e-newsletters, and other mechanisms
• Lead all field marketing activities end-to-end from planning to execution — ensuring timely follow-up and analyzing and reporting results, including but not limited to:
o Regional tradeshows
o Direct Mail Campaigns
o Digital Marketing
• Manage relationships with external vendors – including contracts and invoices
• Develop effective relationships with peers, internal customers, stakeholders, key partners, and vendor
• Availability to travel within the U.S. to support field events and participate in marketing and sales meetings (up to 50% of the time).
Qualifications
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of field marketing experience, ideally supporting a direct sales team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in enterprise technology with Public Sector experience (state/local government, higher education, K12)
• Lead all field marketing activities end-to-end from planning to execution — ensuring timely follow-up and analyzing and reporting results, including but not limited to:
o Regional tradeshows
• Education: BA/BS Marketing preferred
• Proven success in developing and executing field marketing plans that address various buying cycle stages and personas
• Self-starter who can identify problems and proactively suggest, then execute creative solutions with minimal hands-on supervision
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and programs to ensure overall progress
• Outstanding attention to detail; must be highly organized
• Growth and results-oriented, strong communicator and the desire to dedicate time, effort, and energy to learn new programs that will assist in your overall job responsibilities.
