The district spans approximately 113 square miles and is located in the southern part of San Joaquin County.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, a valid (preliminary or clear) California Teaching Credential, and Teacher Librarian Services Credential or willing to obtain a Teacher Librarian Services Credential within a year of hire.

- Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, Expiration Date and EL Authorization)
Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
Comments and Other Information
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Experience working in schools with school age students or library related experience with an expertise in technology. One (1) - High School Library Learning Commons Teacher position per comprehensive high school. This position will have assigned students needing assistance with programs and curriculum. EL Authorization is REQUIRED, as this position will also be teaching ELD. Computers and scanners are available for applicant use in the Human Resources Department Office located at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost if Hired): TB Clearance - Fingerprinting. MUSD offers In-House Teacher Induction Program at no cost. MUSD accepts up to twenty-one (21) years of full-time school years. There may be an out-of-pocket expense depending on the Medical plan.
