Job Summary
Provides oversight of Company production, distribution, and editing. Responsible for portal management, final edits of business communications, and special program coordination.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining partners; scheduling, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Works in conjunction with upper management to determine pay, and budget for department.Supervises, coordinates, and participates in preparation of written materials such as Company publications, employee manuals, various reports, and related special topics.Works closely with management to develop and maintain schedule of team assignments, events, and deadlines.Oversees and actively participates in the coordination of photography, equipment, props, and decorations of special projects and events.Manages internal and external communication through vehicles including email, portal, print publications, social media, partner app, press releases, content for websites, etc. Proofreads and edits the final copy prior to publication.Responsible for writing content and designing graphics for the Company's portal, social media, partner app, Power Point presentations, and other Company publications. Ensures content remains consistent according to prescribed style and format standards.Monitors and develops content for Company's internal and external social media platforms.Research and reviews facts, data, and statistics to ensure accuracy of materials prior to publication.Responsible for preparing presentations for corporate meetings and events.Determines and coordinates direction and design of Company photo and video shoots including dates, times, locations, and equipment. Oversees the Company's video studio including productions, equipment, AV and scheduling.Reviews prepared material, including video footage, graphic designs, animations, and titles, for videos and presentations.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)Intermediate knowledge of video lighting and composition in photography preferred.Intermediate knowledge of editing software (Premiere Pro) preferred.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications.Ability to operate a sound board, speakers, video, and digital single-lens reflex camera.Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time.Ability to lead and motivate others.Ability to communicate effectively, with partners of all levels, in written and verbal form.Ability to communicate professionally, utilizing high levels of writing styles and grammar.Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.Ability to occasionally travel to off-site and out-of-town locations with possible overnight stays.Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.May be required to drive in accordance with the BGC Driver policy.Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field and four or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.Physical Demands
