Communications Team Manager
to support a Hypersonic Weapons Munitions Integration program located in
Dahlgren, VA . Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies for internal and external audiences. Create high-quality written content, including reports, speeches, and presentations. Design visually engaging PowerPoint presentations for executive briefings and stakeholder meetings. Manage corporate messaging across various platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective communication. Maintain confidentiality and security protocols in all communications. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and fourteen (14) years of experience; Master’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Required skills: 14+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field. Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in PowerPoint and graphic design tools (Adobe Suite preferred). Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple projects. Experience working with government agencies or defense-related industries is a plus. Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
