YOUR POSITION The Senior Management Analyst in Moreno Valley's Economic Development Department is a cornerstone of the City's business attraction efforts. This role is dedicated to developing strategies that attract businesses to the City, enhance job opportunities, and create a thriving economic environment for residents and stakeholders. The position involves conducting detailed analyses of business markets, developing marketing programs, and building key partnerships to position Moreno Valley as a premier location for business growth. IDEAL CANDIDATE The ideal candidate is a visionary professional with a strong background in strategic marketing, business attraction, and data-driven economic development. They excel at analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and crafting compelling strategies to attract new businesses and investments. With a talent for building relationships, they serve as a key liaison between public agencies, private industry, and community stakeholders, promoting the City as a premier destination for business. Their expertise includes managing cross-functional projects, leading outreach initiatives, and developing performance metrics to measure success. Skilled in digital and traditional marketing, they create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that align with broader economic goals. This individual is also adept at translating complex data into actionable insights and presenting them clearly to senior leadership. Ultimately, they drive innovation and collaboration to support sustainable economic growth and long-term business development. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree in finance or a closely related field; OR, equivalent related work experience;
AND A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience performing administrative, operations, budgetary and similar analyses. Experience in a governmental agency is preferred.
Evenings, weekends and overnight travel will be required.
