Video/Audio/Post-Production Support Engineer

The NFL is seeking a Video/Audio/Post-Production Support Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, monitoring, maintaining, operating, and repairing production equipment systems as a key member of the VAP Engineering group.
Responsibilities
- Understand technical facilities, complex broadcast production equipment, and computer and data network assets within the VAP Engineering environment.
- Serve as an admin and support resource for an Avid environment with 100+ end users.
- Diagnose problems rapidly and provide solutions to meet production deadlines.
- Comprehend complex workflows and concepts.
- Participate in training and ongoing education of production staff on equipment and systems.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with professional Video, Audio, Post-Production, and Broadcast systems, including management of Audio, Video, Storage, and network infrastructure.
- Experience in developing and deploying video and audio systems with current tools.
- Assist in developing new post-production, media management, and broadcast processes.
- Collaborate on system design, development, and deployment, including planning across multiple media systems.
- Manage post-production system life cycles.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
Skills — Computer/Storage/Networking/Applications
- Preferred: Advanced knowledge of Avid, Nexus, Media Composer.
- Knowledge of data networking.
- Proficient in Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Familiar with current video/audio editing systems, graphics tools (Adobe Creative Suite, VizRT), BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve, Vantage transcoding, and enterprise storage systems (Dell/EMC, Vast, OpenDrives, NetApp).
Preferred Qualifications (not all required)
- BA/BS in Engineering, Video Production, Communications, or related field.
- Over 5 years in Video, Audio, and Post Engineering.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Kubernetes, SMPTE 2110 systems.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift heavy equipment for installation and maintenance.
Travel
- Not required.
Salary / Pay Range
$125,000 - $145,000 USD. The NFL expects to hire near the middle of this range. Higher salaries are rare and require exceptional experience.
Terms / Expected Hours
- 40 hours/week, with potential overtime and weekend work.
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium; remote/hybrid options are not available. NO relocation assistance is provided.
