Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and high-energy Print Advertising Sales Executive to join our team. Sales Executives on our remote team can live anywhere in the U.S. and sell into all of our market areas! The successful candidate will have experience in print advertising sales within the past five years and be an energetic team player who is persuasive and well organized with the ability to sell in an entirely remote environment. The primary function of this role is to conduct business-to-business outbound contact with home improvement/remodeling, home services, and home furnishings type businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new sales opportunities via high volume outbound calls and proactively prospect from existing client database.
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Meet and exceed sales revenue and new business acquisition goals for existing and new products.
- Ability to make recommendations and bring creative out-of-the box solutions to clients and new prospects that result in incremental sales.
- Ability to navigate internal resources for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings.
- Understand and keep abreast of the competitive landscape and market trends through continued personal education and company trainings.
- Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; highly adept at effective communication with management and internal team members, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of all aspects of the direct mail advertising sales cycle and print media preferred.
- Ability to prepare presentations and use of appropriate modes of communication.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and work to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated track record of success working in a remote, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience influencing, negotiating, and resolving conflicts to close the sale.
- Proficiency using CRM platforms to effectively manage a sales pipeline is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to persuasively convey critical elements of complex issues.
