Job Summary:

As our Service Writer, you’ll be the key link between our technicians and our customers. You'll be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, preparing repair orders, and ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
2. Write and manage repair orders with accuracy and attention to detail
3. Communicate service recommendations to customers based on technician diagnostics
4. Provide accurate estimates for labor and parts
5. Order parts and manage parts inventory as needed
6. Coordinate schedules with technicians to meet deadlines
7. Maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service

Requirements:

1. Experience as a service writer, service advisor, or similar customer service role
2. Knowledge of automotive systems and repair parts
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills
4. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
5. Proficiency with computers and repair order software (preferred)
6. High school diploma or equivalent
