Hello,
We are looking for a Producer Compensation Analyst – Must have experience from Insurance, Financial services, Media and entertainment, Sales organizations, or Real estate environments.
This is a Hybrid Role – Must report to the Oakland, CA office at least 1 or 2 times a month. Zip Code: 94612
Duration: 9+ months with possibility of longer-term extensions.
Pay Rate: $33/hr on W2 – No C2C.

Role:
The Producer Compensation Analyst manages producer records, broker relationships, and commission payments. This role ensures accurate data, reconciles monthly commission payments, and resolves compensation-related inquiries. The analyst collaborates with internal teams and external brokers to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain producer records, demographics, and payment methods.
- Manage broker-to-customer relationships and commission records to support accurate commission calculations.
- Reconcile monthly commission payments, analyze discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with compensation payments, including voids, reissues, cancellations, Form 5500, and 1099 reconciliation.
- Analyze CRM data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute reports on producer records, commissions, and key performance metrics.
- Support system maintenance and upgrade testing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance efficiency in producer record management.
- Provide commission statements and ad-hoc reports as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience onboarding and setting up brokers.
- Experience and knowledge of broker appointments, licensing processes, AP/AR, and broker commissions.
