Responsibilities
- Support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts in Orlando, FL as an experienced UI/UX Designer for Business Intelligence Applications.
- Design and implement user interfaces for Business Intelligence and Analytics Applications.
- Create prototypes and wireframes for reporting modules and widgets.
- Convert designs into CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Participate in UI component design, development, and delivery.
- Engage in all phases of UI/UX design including requirements gathering, product design, testing, and support.
- Improve existing UIs for better interactivity and usability.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and lead issue resolution when necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations.
- Work onsite in Orlando, FL.
Qualifications
Required Competencies
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript based on prototypes and designs.
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to understand project needs and learn new technologies.
- Experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of design best practices for BI and analytics across devices.
- Availability for troubleshooting and defect resolution.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Technical Skills
- At least 3 years of UX design experience.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience designing large-scale enterprise websites and applications.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX methodologies and web standards.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Experience with XAML markup and UWP app development is a plus.
