We are seeking a Senior Electrical Module/Packaging Design Engineer responsible for developing innovative RF/Microwave module/packaged products. This role involves designing and developing single or multi-chip modules integrating GaN, GaAs, or Silicon-based MMICs using advanced packaging technologies. Depending on experience, mentoring team members may also be part of your responsibilities. You will work as a key member of an integrated product development team including marketing, program management, mechanical engineering, product engineering, packaging, testing, applications, manufacturing, operations, quality, and senior management. Responsibilities: Develop RF/mm-wave single or multi-chip modules (MCM). Integrate MMICs into air cavity or over-molded modules for innovative solutions. Design advanced packages using 2.5D and 3D electromagnetic simulators. Perform product checkout, optimization, and design verification testing (DVT). Analyze DVT results and present findings to stakeholders. Support products through lifecycle stages from concept to production. Required Technical Qualifications and Experience: Experience integrating microwave/millimeter-wave MMIC dies in various modules. Expert in 3D EM simulation tools like HFSS or Analyst, and circuit simulators such as ADS, Microwave Office, or Cadence. Ability to analyze performance tradeoffs using various package types. Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF fundamentals. Experience in microwave measurements, characterization, and calibration. Knowledge of semiconductor technologies like GaN, GaAs, and Silicon. Broad knowledge of RF/power packaging, materials, and assembly processes. Excellent communication skills to summarize technical concepts clearly. Desired Experience: Knowledge of RF signal chain and system analysis. Knowledge of antenna design. Published author in technical journals or magazines. Ability to meet technical needs and schedules of customers. Required Education and Experience: BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience. MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience. PhD in Electrical Engineering (RF/Microwave focus) with 2+ years of experience. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
