We are united by the common interest to provide superior service to our clients. The Position RRMM is searching for an interior designer for our Chesapeake office. This position will require design assistance for the interior design portion of our projects – starting with design concepts followed by construction documents through construction administration. Job Responsibilities:
Provide programming, space planning, and spatial layouts Create original design concepts including finish materials and presentation boards Coordinate with consultants including architectural, lighting, MEP, etc. Develop full interior drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, RCP, millwork, details, and specific schedules Develop FF&E packages Ensure continuity and consistency of design deliverables Meet project schedules, budgets, and deadlines Review and check all work for design, accuracy, and completeness Manage and work effectively within a collaborative team environment on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of five years’ experience designing interior projects for healthcare, state/DEB, municipal and/or education Knowledge of custom millwork construction Knowledge of construction materials, details, standards, and building codes Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Proficient in REVIT We offer a competitive salary and generous package of benefits.
