Key Responsibilities:
Manage Cargo product development, marketing & advertising programs. Recommend and implement marketing strategies, initiatives, and programs to improve United Cargo’s market and media position. Develop new brands and products that will establish customer preference and superior revenue performance in the global marketplace.
Product revenue performance versus company plan
Contribution margins versus plan
Successful implementation of new and integrated products on-time and in conformance with company expectations
Superior brand and product performance as measured by marketing survey results
Execution of tradeshow and key customer event strategy exceeding stakeholder goals
Coordination of compelling marketing communication campaigns
Increasing awareness and product preference (as measured by surveys such as IATA Cargo Tracker)
Please note: This is a Chicago-based, hybrid role requiring, on average, three days per week in office.
Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
3 years in supervisory role in marketing and/or advertising
Proven marketing and product development track record including: product launches with results
Execution of comprehensive marketing plans and evidence of proficiency in marketing communications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Cargo experience
Proficiency with cargo e-commerce, operating platforms and emerging technology
Proficiency in coordinating an ad agency from media planning, marketing planning to execution
