Job Description
Our home health organization is currently experiencing growth, and we are looking to add a Home Health Community Liaison to join our team. We serve a large portion of the Chicagoland area. This full-time position offers flexibility with the schedule and is located in Schaumburg.
The Community Liaison develops and maintains relationships with referral sources and providers in the community. This marketing role involves visiting facilities, hospitals, and doctor offices, with a requirement to come in 1-2 times a week to discuss progress and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to meet admission targets
- Assist in verifying patient referral service authorizations
- Address client satisfaction issues
- Conduct daily in-person visits to meet/exceed census goals
- Expand referral base through prospecting
- Evaluate competition and improve marketing strategies
- Cultivate relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, and social workers
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Account Management/Business Development within home health care or similar industry
- Prior healthcare sales experience required
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Highly motivated towards achievement
