From National Cable to Local Broadcast to Streaming, we bring media plans to life with precision and creativity.
We're on the hunt for a Senior Manager, Video Investment to lead planning, negotiation, and execution of campaigns across all video platforms, with foremost emphasis on our TV and CTV business. This is a role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to stretch a media dollar without sacrificing impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, buying, and execution of traditional media campaigns – including linear and connected TV – for a diverse client portfolio.
- Negotiate media rates, placements, and added-value opportunities with vendors and media reps to maximize client ROI.
- Work hand-in-hand with client services team to translate client briefs and media strategies into smart, effective offline media plans aligned with target audiences and business objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance, provide mid-flight optimizations, and aid the traffic department with flawless delivery of spots and materials.
- Prepare and present media proposals, schedules, and performance recaps to clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, staying current on pricing trends, market shifts, and new inventory opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, account management, and creative teams to align media execution with overall campaign goals.
- Mentor and guide junior buyers, sharing best practices and helping elevate agency media standards.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in traditional/offline media buying (agency experience highly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of buying across broadcast, cable, syndication, network, streaming, programmatic, display and native.
- Proven negotiation skills and vendor relationships that drive value.
- Familiarity with media planning and buying tools such as Strata, Core, Nielsen, Kantar, or similar.
- Strong presentation skills – you’re confident talking strategy and performance with clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and campaigns without missing deadlines.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with other channels, such as spot TV/radio, OOH, print, direct mail.
- Familiarity with Upfront and general marketplace media buying.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with digital media teams on integrated campaigns.
- Comfort working with campaign analytics and audience measurement tools.
Base Salary is flexible and commensurate with years of experience.
