Job Summary
The SCAN Advertising and Marketing Coordinator facilitates all advertising for SCAN events, researches and suggests promotional materials, and updates social media, signage, and advertisements.
Qualifications
- Good Conduct and Academic Standing
- Currently enrolled Sheridan College student
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel
- Preferred: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Familiar with social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Working Conditions
- May require working late hours and weekends
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Display leadership qualities
- Be creative and innovative
- Attend all training sessions and weekly meetings
- Setup and tear down of events
- Research performers for future events
