Oversee and optimize targeted digital and print marketing, advertising, and sales support tactics to produce a measurable increase in pipeline leads and velocity Develop compelling messaging, sales collateral, and project proposals that utilize research and subject matter expertise to effectively and creatively convey our region’s competitive strengths to sophisticated audiences across targeted industries Lead internal project teams and coalitions of external stakeholders in the strategic execution of marketing efforts at globally significant trade shows and industry forums Bring creative and sophisticated marketing approaches to the business attraction team that directly support the growth of the sales pipeline and improve our success rate for closing deals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce best-in-class materials and ensure timely delivery of all projects Perform additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to you by Greater St. Louis, Inc. Characteristics Needed for Position: Motivated by a healthy sense of competition, drive to win, and satisfaction in achievement Comfort working and leading in an agile, fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively while balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines Exceptional results orientation and sense of accountability toward the success of the whole Exceptional written and oral communication skills Strong desire to work as part of a results-oriented team Exceptional strategic fluency and creative capacity with the ability to execute Exceptional standards of quality, attention to detail, and follow-through Usage of independent judgment and discretion, as warranted Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in marketing, communications, business, or other related disciplines 10 or more years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development preferred, with a focus on business-to-business or professional service environments Proven experience in leading and executing multi-channel marketing and lead generation campaigns Experience collaborating closely with sales teams to support pipeline objectives Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Teams Proficient with the capabilities of digital communication platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, or similar tools Familiarity with utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce to manage interactions, track pipeline activity, and analyze data for improved outcomes Travel and Schedule: Must be available during standard business hours. May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday as project deadlines demand. Events and meetings will involve some early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Will require travel based on project demands. Travel includes frequently driving a motor vehicle as well as occasional air travel. International travel will likely be required on occasion.
