Job description
Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician – Prior Authorization
Location: Fully Remote (United States) Must have a private, dedicated workspace and wired internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload).
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM CT (set schedule provided) Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT
Pay: 16.55/hr
Job Summary: This is a remote inbound call center position. You will assist members, providers, and other callers with professional, criteria-based support through the prior authorization process. Clinical questions are transferred to a pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to high-volume inbound calls from members and providers Provide guidance through the prior authorization process Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions Transfer clinical inquiries and judgment calls to pharmacists Collaborate in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a healthcare customer service/call center setting Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to sit and focus without interruptions for full shift Must have a quiet, dedicated home office space with wired internet (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload) Comfortable using computer applications including Word, Excel, and internal CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred but not required) Eligible for state registration or licensure if required Prior CVS/Aetna experience preferred Experience in pharmacy benefit management, insurance, or healthcare setting

This is a fully remote (WFH) position You will never be required to report on-site
