The Centre for the Analysis of Taxation (CenTax) is a new centre dedicated to improving public understanding of tax policy and helping to design a better tax system, by generating evidence that is rigorous and relevant to policymakers and the public.
As the Communication and Public Affairs Lead, you will work with the Directors to enable the Centre to maximise the impact of its work on policy and practice through a strategic programme of stakeholder engagement, including government officials, media, tax professionals, third sector organisations and industry representatives.
About You
As an experienced communications or public affairs professional, you will have a demonstrable track record of building communication and stakeholder strategies to shape policy development and issues at a national level, ensuring communications and engagement are targeted and tracked.
Experience of translating complex research into engaging content for non-academic audiences (including e.g. journalists, policymakers and politicians) is essential, as are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively alongside a wide range of people.

The Department of Economics at Warwick is consistently ranked among the top economics departments both in Europe and globally. CenTax, which is co-hosted by Warwick and LSE, has already established a reputation as one of the UK’s leading institutions for the analysis of tax policy.
