Employees are provided in-depth training and access to state-of-the-art tools necessary to do their jobs, as well as development and growth opportunities.The JobThe Marketing Consultant is responsible for planning and executing a wide range of marketing projects including direct mail programs, sales collaterals, flyers, event promotions, print, web, and digital advertising focused primarily on people aged 65+.You WillSupport company growth and success of Marketing by being a resource for collaboratively developing and implementing a wide variety of marketing programs within the context of a larger corporate strategy and brand to help meet and exceed targeted sales goals.Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns by understanding the underlying objectives and then applying marketing and industry expertise; manage project teams including both internal and external participants.Oversee content, design and production of prospect-facing marketing collaterals, direct mail, digital ads, advertisements, web pages, and events by applying expert knowledge of marketing principles.Ensure that all assigned marketing materials and programs are consistent with the brand look, tone and feel by understanding the broader marketing strategy, and by applying brand standards and professional design practices.Ensure compliance of all assigned marketing materials and programs by maintaining a detailed understanding of relevant regulations and by working collaboratively with the Compliance department.Manage the cost of design, development, and production of marketing materials by communicating team accountabilities and project instructions; oversee Marketing budget and work with Director to maintain cost center balances.Maintain collegial, collaborative relationships at all levels within the organization and by practicing SCAN’s Five Basic Principles.Be a key contributor to business process and marketing program improvement by maintaining a keen awareness of marketplace trends, interacting with the sales team, and participating in periodic after-action review and strategic planning sessions.Your QualificationsMinimum of seven years’ experience in marketing project management including strategy development, regulatory compliance, and production expertise.Three or more years’ experience developing and executing marketing programs in a membership organization (e.g., health plan, financial services) required.Experience marketing to the 65+ segment and/or Medicare Advantage experience required.Marketing or Advertising agency experience required.Knowledge of CMS regulations required.Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills required -- especially the ability to formulate and articulate a logical point-of-view, act with integrity and operate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Must be able to handle many tasks independently and simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to meet deadlines consistently without sacrificing quality required.Cross-platform knowledge of MAC and IBM hardware, design, desktop publishing and database software a plus.What's in it for you?Hourly rate: $50 to $65 per hour.Excellent 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with employer match.An opportunity to become part of a team that makes a difference to our members and our community every day!We're always looking for talented people to join our team!
