Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, communicating effectively, fostering a culture of belonging, and recruiting qualified staff to support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer needs, setting goals, tracking progress, identifying improvements, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
Leads teams through teaching, training, and active listening; tours stores and provides feedback; communicates store operations, initiatives, and company direction; leads change efforts; sets clear expectations; and communicates business objectives effectively.
Models exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, supporting customer initiatives, resolving issues, and leading process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Ensures policy compliance and supports company values by implementing action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding staff in ethical practices.
Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, monitoring inventory and operational processes, and developing strategies to meet sales and profit goals.
Embraces diversity, fosters a supportive workplace, builds trust, and motivates teams; works with integrity, upholds high standards, and supports Walmart’s mission of positive community impact.

The annual salary range is $65,000 - $80,000, with potential additional bonuses and location-based pay adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college OR 1 year of retail and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Associates must attend and pass all required training and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related field, certification in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
