JOB SUMMARY:
The City of Woodstock is seeking to fill a Part-Time Library Assistant I position with the Woodstock Public Library. The position is responsible to assist patrons with information, directions and circulation services, maintenance of circulation records and the shelving of materials. The work is performed under the supervision of the Circulation Manager and/or the Circulation Supervisor.

SCHEDULE:
The days and hours for each position are as follows:
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (every/other)
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (every/other)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year prior office, library, or customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Spanish language fluency preferred, but not required.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
The position is a part-time hourly position that will work no more than 28 hours per week on average. The pay rate is $18.62 per hour.
Benefits include an IMRF pension, prorated vacation, holiday, and sick time, and choice of two (2) optional employee paid vision insurance plans.
PAY RATE: $18.62/hour. There are no additional benefits.
