ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with a pool of reporters, rotating courtrooms every week
- Create verbatim records and transcribe court proceedings using computer-aided transcription on appeal or whenever requested
- Option to transcribe trials or hearings from digital recordings
- Maintain all exhibits used in trials or hearings and file them when needed
- Maintain personal job log and enter information into the computer
- Able to perform real-time services
- Answer telephones

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work professionally and collegially with other personnel
- Professional appearance and demeanor
SOFTWARE: Eclipse
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:
Must have completed an accredited court reporting program. RPR certification is preferred. Must be an Ohio Notary Public. Qualified applicants may be required to submit to testing.
