Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for creating original content and supporting marketing and communication initiatives of Providence House Location:
Hybrid, Office at East Campus Salary Range:
$30,000 - $40,000

Marketing & Design
Develop marketing campaigns for Providence House events and initiatives in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Director and other members of the External Relations Team.
Design dynamic digital and print materials for a variety of audiences in conjunction with the External Relations Directors that follow Providence House brand guidelines, support its mission and help achieve the goals of the project. Content will include social media and website updates, info-graphics, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, one-pagers, e-blasts, fundraising appeals, event invitations, signage, and our Annual Impact Report.
Write compelling copy for social media captions, website updates, event descriptions, thought-leadership initiatives, etc.
Coordinate and implement Content Calendars for social media, e-blasts, and print communications to ensure all source material is gathered and content is drafted and approved in time to be published.
Maintain digital platforms and improve Providence House performance according to user data, best practices, and industry trends (SEO, website, social media, e-blasts).
Coordinate print production of all Providence House marketing materials including the final design, quantity needed, and budget for each project to ensure timely delivery.
Oversee inventory of all markeing and outreach materials to ensure appropriate use and coordinate timely replenishment.
External Relations Support
Support production and execution of mass mailings including fundraising appeals, event solicitations, etc. through preparing documents, updating PDFs, printing, and stuffing envelopes.
Participate in events and outreach efforts and as a representative of the organization at conferences, meetings, speaking engagements, external events, and Providence House special events as assigned.
Assist in managing and routing incoming telephone calls and visitors and donors at the doors.
Undertake other projects as requested by the Government and Foundation Relations Director or President & CEO.

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; on the job experience is a bonus. Must be able to provide original writing and graphic design samples. Experience with social media management including creating and scheduling content for multiple platforms. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - experience with Canva is a bonus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Committed to exceptional work quality and standards. Proven ability to execute multiple projects effectively on a deadline. Must be a motivated, self-starter and able to function productively and effectively with autonomy. Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to accommodate weekend and evening responsibilities. Passionate about the mission of Providence House.

This job operates in a professional office environment. In order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job, this role routinely uses standard office equipment not limited to but including: computers, phones, printer/copier/scanner, and surveillance cameras.
