Responsibilities: The Senior Web Developer will play a critical role in delivering website solutions for our business users and patients, solving business problems, and establishing best practices that produce high-quality data product and service. The Senior Web Developer will wuild relationships with clients, stakeholders, and end users in a fast-paced environment as well as guide teams to follow agile methodology to deliver technology products. This is a fully remote role with working hours 8-5pm CST Monday-Friday. What You Will Do: Develops high-quality website design and architecture using best practices Executes assigned tasks in an agile methodology Develops web applications by producing clean, efficient, and scalable solutions Automates tasks through appropriate tools and scripting Reviews and debug code Performs validation and testing Collaborates with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products while focusing on user experience and performance optimization Documents development phases and monitor systems Designs, planning and development of solutions based on industry requirements Participates as part of a project team to design, code, test and implement moderately complex programs to support the portfolio management process Leads small to mid-level sized programs or portions of a program Identifies issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend and implement corrective measures Maintenance of existing systems
Experience Requirements and Preferences:: Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Finance, Healthcare Administration or another related field; in lieu of degree, additional 5+ years of web development experience (10+ years total) Experience:
Required: 5+ years of experience in a Web Developer role Highly proficient in web development using WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Database Management experience using MySQL Experience working with web services and APIs Version Control experience using Git Preferred: Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap, jQuery) Experience with responsive design Experience with cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility Experience with cloud computing services such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc Experience working with map APIs like Google Maps, Mapbox, etc Knowledge of security best practices for web development Desired: Exposure to TypeScript, Python Experience with mobile design Knowledge of SEO best practices
