Summary of Position

The Marketing Legal team is seeking a coordinator to assist the Senior Manager. We are responsible for reviewing all theatrical advertising materials across the company to ensure that they are compliant with paid ad statements, DGA and WGA guidelines, MPA content guidelines, and our broader needs as a company. We are seeking candidates who have an interest in the fast-paced world of theatrical marketing and/or legal affairs, thrive on organization, task boards and color-coded spreadsheets, and are strong communicators with a desire to expand their knowledge.

The coordinator will be reviewing trailers, TV spots, billboards, and social media posts while working closely with the teams creating these assets to ensure we are communicating all credit and legal requirements and guidelines are being followed. They will be advising the teams on revisions that need to be made, tracking these revisions, and following up to confirm that changes have been made and materials have been approved before they go out into the world. They will be liaising with our partners at the guilds and the MPA, maintaining those professional relationships, and finding solutions where the needs of the studio and our partners do not align. We are in many ways diplomats attempting to bring two parties together on a common path forward each day, and we're looking for the right candidate to join the team and guide our marketing creatives on best practices and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Submit all marketing materials (trailers, TV spots, digital, print, home entertainment, etc.) via MediaQurator platform for clearance with the MPA, DGA, WGA, Legal, Google, and MetaCollaborate with our media agency on clearance process for network and broadcast TV spotsTrack clearance feedback, follow up with outside parties to ensure timely responses, interpret feedback and pass on to creative teams in a timely mannerGather and organize Paid Ad Statements and other documentation from legal delivery team, keep detailed notesAssist Senior Manager with creation of Marketing Legal Guideline documents - shorthand "cheat sheets" intended for use by creative teams - by interpreting paid ad statements and summarizing key pointsTrack inquiries and issues flagged by creative teams and escalate as neededAssist with maintaining trailer targets board, and communicating new targets to the MPAQualifications and Skills

1-2 years prior experience in a similar role(s)Proactive mindset, strong verbal and written communication skills, confident speakerProject management skills and experience with Monday.com, Notion, and other similar softwareAbility to juggle many different tasks and projects simultaneouslyNice to Haves

Compensation

$47,500 - $50,000
