Our client, a well known beauty brand is seeking a strong Email Marketing Manager.MissionTo define the customer journey through a well-thought-out strategy that drives clients to loyalty. This role will manage the customer journey and ensure that its path remains fluid for both the customers & beauty consultants.

Job DescriptionThe Manager will be responsible for optimizing lead-nurturing and retention campaigns and flows across email and SMS. The goal is to drive more revenue and increase purchase frequency through segmented and personalized campaigns that connect the brand and its offerings with the customer audiences throughout their lifecycle.

Key functions of this role include:Create the CRM strategy for the brand for the b2b and b2c markets.Eventually Manage a small team of 1-2Plan, build, launch CRM campaigns (e-mail and SMS)Conceptualize and plan CRM campaigns, workflows, post-purchase, and triggers that engage our existing and prospective customersDevelop segmentation strategies around frequent purchasers, inactive purchasers, enrollments, subscriptions, registered not purchased, etc.Submit copy and creative briefs aligned with testing plan and segmentationSet up, segment, QA, execute, and deploy all emailsProvide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting with deep analysis of performance and action items to be presented to leadershipWork cross-functionally to improve the layout of emails using best practices andproven email marketing and SMS tacticsDevelop and drive a long-term CRM strategy which consists of two mains tools (e-mail and SMS) to consistently improve performance, retention, loyalty, and increase revenueManage email, SMS lists and life cycle of email subscribers, optimize list performance and scrub on a regular basis to manage costs and list efficiencyWork with the web development team to design new email layouts, A/B test, and constantly improve performanceStay up-to-date with current CRM industry trends and best practices and bring new ideas to the table that will support the company's business goalsConduct in-house "beauty consultant" market research to better comprehend prevailing consumer behavior

KPIsMust be familiar with how to measure and improve core Email marketing KPI's such as:number of emails delivered, number of emails opened, clicks, ctr, ctor, unsubscribe rate, bounce rate, spam complaints, social shares (eg: blog), email forwards (eg: newsletter), conversions, orders, revenue

Requirements

Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred5+ years of email marketing/lifecycle journey experience including strategy and execution for DTC brandsDirect selling crm experience preferredExperience in beauty, skincare, cosmetics highly desiredDeep understanding of customer journey and lifecycle marketingCollaborative and exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and time management skillsHighly analytical with knowledge of tools such as GAExperience using CRM tools such as mail chimp, klaviyo, attentive, etc.Autonomous, agile, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing and working with agency partnersExperience with loyalty programs
