Director, Marketing, Sterling Brand Location:  Onsite/hybrid work model at Kohler, WI. (This position is not open to fulltime remote). OpportunityResponsible for directing marketing for the Sterling brand across all channels and customer touchpoints.  This role will direct Sterling brand advertising and marketing activities as well as the creation and execution of all marketing strategies.  Additionally, this individual will lead the team responsible for all product launches, target customer engagement and the short- and long-term brand strategy and execution.  This role will lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize needs, define requirements, and lead the go-to-market strategy.  Responsible for establishing and articulating the strategic mission across all channels and managing overall brand awareness and demand generation for the Sterling brand. PRIMARY OBJECTIVESLead Sterling brand marketing to achieve $1B+ in sales by 2028 while maintaining and growing current level of profitability.Lead Brand Building initiative to grow Sterling Brand Power, Awareness, Consideration and Purchase across consumer and trade audiences.Manage/lead marketing team for Sterling brand and cross-functional teams to effectively communicate Sterling brand product differentiation and benefit stories at every customer touchpoint both in physical and digital locationsLead development/briefing and execution full funnel media campaigns that span traditional and new media channels to drive awareness and purchase for the brandDevelop short and long-term marketing strategy that focuses on establishing Sterling as the premier plumbing brand for the trade professional.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESLead annual and long-term Sterling Brand marketing planning and execution that deliver the brand, sales, and audience goals.Partner with cross-functional team members to refine processes as needed to achieve objectives. Lead new product launch tactics, including assets, training, merchandising and sales collateral are executed at launch.Deliver strategies and tactics to increase Sterling performance through the full funnel tactic execution to reach targeted audiences.Recommend short- and long-range goals in support of objectives and policies and direct the development of plans and programs for attainment of goals relating to sales and marketing.Incorporate the use of data, measurement and performance to build and execute top performing plansManage the full Sterling Marketing and Advertising budgets to align with tactics to achieve the brand and sales goalsSet strategic direction for Sterling advertising budget and work with KOHLER Communications to execute.Hire and develop the best talent to build a top Marketing organization within Kohler Co. and the industry.Skills/RequirementsAn undergraduate degree is required, and an advanced business degree preferred.Eight plus years of successful, broad-based marketing and brand experience. Significant familiarity with consumer and trade marketing to provide strategic leadership and direction of the business.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The salary range for this position is $148,250 - $191,850.
