At our location in Atlanta, GA we design, engineer, prototype, and manufacture devices for a wide array of industries ranging from consumer products to medical devices. We serve all our clients from individual entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies with the same efficiency and agility we have been providing since our own startup days in 2015.As a part of the core Kickr design team, Industrial Designers help to strategize, design, prototype, and test components and systems starting at conceptual sketching and models through fully manufactured parts. Kickr is looking for an highly experienced designer to enhance our team with a deep knowledge of product development and design processes. We are excited to expand our design team and bring on another talented and driven Industrial Designer to our team.
RequirementsBFA / Bachelor's degree (or higher) with focus on industrial design5-10 years Industrial Design experienceKickr Design is looking for Industrial Designers who can deliver on the following:Concept visualization using hand sketchingCAD experience (Solidworks preferred) with surfacing and assembliesDigital rendering using either Solidworks, Visualize, or KeyshotPart prototyping via modeling, CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing and other methodsDeep understanding of all aspects of the product design processAbility to extract and understand nuanced customer requirements and assist customers through the development journeyDocument and communicate progress with team and customers, maintain project schedules and timelinesDevelop positive working relationships with teammates, vendors and clientsUnderstanding or experience of using human factors in the design processBenefitsExcellent health insurance including dental and vision at no cost to you401KKickr pays 40% of cost to have dependents on Kickr provided insuranceFlexible work scheduleExcellent location in Atlanta’s Upper WestsideFree t-shirt!Salary expectations: 90-120k depending on skillset and level of experienceAt Kickr Design, we are proud of the company culture we have developed over the past few years by hiring awesome people.
