Marketing Coordinator DGHC
Job Summary
Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the development and growth of new potential clients to Douglas Gardens Home Care Nurse Registry. Responsible to coordinate, develop, execute, and maintain meaningful relationships with key community groups and to cultivate community awareness of our services. Collaborates closely with Nurse Registry Administrator.
Essential Job Functions
Track, prepare, expand, and maintain reports of growth metrics 25%
Frequent travel within service area, up to 75%
Participates in special events, internal and external organization marketing.
Assist in developing a marketing program and growth strategy.
Maintains inventory of promotional materials, maintains database and coordinates mailing lists.
Performs community outreach activities including presentations, exhibits and one on one contact with community groups (i.e., Acute/Outpatient settings, Case Management, etc.)
Follows up with communication and correspondence from internal and external referrals including new potential clients established at all events.
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with area agencies.
Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) that determine effectiveness of events and growth in clients.
Keeping an eye on trends and monitoring competition.
Ability to analyze and develop short term and long-term plans.
Assume and manage additional assignments as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
Experience:
1-2 years’ experience in healthcare, admissions, marketing, or related field
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance for use of personal vehicle to perform job duties, as needed
Abilities Required
Computer literacy with MS Outlook, Work Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Knowledge of cognitive stimulation games or programs is a plus.
Able to speak, read and write English fluently required, Spanish language proficiency preferred.
Able to plan, develop, implement, and adapt appropriate programming/activities for a variety of cognitive levels, interests, and abilities.
Self-directed. Able to work with little direct supervision.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize, and time management skills.
Telephone etiquette knowledge
Demonstrates the motivation and ability to communicate and interact with individuals with neurocognitive disorders with a high level of tact, professionalism, enthusiasm, and initiative.
Music, art, cognitive rehabilitation or related experience or training a plus.
Fluency in Spanish or additional languages is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of the work group, and participants.

The PACE philosophy is centered on the belief that it is better for frail individuals and their families to be served in the community whenever possible. Although all PACE participants are eligible for nursing home care, 90 percent continue to live in the community.
