Sr. Mechanical Designer
Client designs and builds custom solutions and systems such as enclosures, machine guarding, conveyors, workstations, etc. for manufacturing applications using extruded aluminum profile.
The Mechanical Designer will work with our sales team, engineers, and customers to design and detail projects as well as manage the incoming RFQs to ensure timely response. Responsibilities include:
Receive and review RFQs from sales team and/or customersAssign quote requests to engineersEnsure that quotes, approval drawings, and job releases are completed in a timely mannerAssist in updating drawings from completed jobsDesign and detail new projects
Required Qualifications:
10 years+ of design experienceDegree in CAD Design (preferred but not required)Strong background and experience with AutoCADMechanical aptitude & problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail, organizational and follow-through skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and see each through from concept to completion
Preferred Qualifications:
Conveyor Design ExperienceAutomation Design Experience
