Job Title: TSLOTS Designer
Reports to: TSLOTS Brand Design Leader
Shift: M-F 7-3 PM
TSLOTS Designers are critical to the growth of the TSLOTS brand. Since the responsibilities of this role vary widely, a candidate must be adaptable and dedicated to the success of the product line. Reporting to the TSLOTS Brand Design Leader, this individual will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance to their fellow TSLOTS Designers
Responsibilities:Meet with production daily to work through issues and requests.Escalate situations to the Brand Design leader as needed.Function as the primary point of contact for certain customers and plant stakeholders in the absence of the Brand Design Leader.Critically analyze quotes and drawings.Participate in all day-to-day design team responsibilities including quoting, designing and CNC programming.Communicate with customers via phone and email.Coach Designers to critically analyze drawings or 3D models and communicate any necessary changes to the customer.Determine the feasibility of customer requests. Anticipate any challenges and work with production to overcome them.Obtain pricing for non-standard items and determine list price.Complete New Item# Request forms.Assist the design team in the generation of customer quotes.Communicate with production and purchasing to deliver accurate lead times to customers.Ensure the designers are well ahead of production in the programming of panels and creation of drawings.Review Customer Hassle Incidents with the Brand Design Lead.Conversational CNC programming.Assist plant leadership in the implementation of waste stoppers and other projects.EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
High School Diploma and/or GED4+ years of 3D design experience.Strong understanding of manufacturing and customer serviceInterpersonal skills - ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels.Ability to communicate complex concepts to any audience.Analytical and critical thinking skills.Elevated level of computer literacy.Conversational CNC Programming.What You'll Love About Us:
