Selectek has a client has an immediate need for a Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Design Engineer with industrial equipment design and inventor experience. Candidates should have the ability to develop detailed mechanical drawings for use in fabrication and construction.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanical Designer is responsible for completing the assigned design and drawing tasks as determined by the Engineering ManagerDevelop accurate and complete mechanical drawings as required by each project task assigned.Aides in developing and coordinating design standards with other designers and engineers.Maintains a professional CAD Station.Answers for design hour budget deviations on assigned tasks.Must maintain a design reference library for standard design tools, components, and resources.Must report estimated time to complete assigned tasks within the project scheduling software.Must maintain updated design reference guides, reference books, vendor data, design tables, welding symbol reference charts, etc.Communicate task assignment discrepancies to the Engineering Manager immediately upon discovery.
Required:
3+ years of mechanical design experience for industrial equipmentInventor and AutoCAD Proficiency
Sponsorship: NoPay Range: $24/hour - $32/hour ($50,000 - $67,000 annual salary – depending on experience and could be higher)Term of assignment: 4 month temp to permPay Method when Direct: Salary role - no overtime payLocation of job: Marietta, GAHours & Shift: Flex time offered by 1-hour Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM is coreWork From Home/Remote: Not to begin with, it is possible down the line they may be more open to thisOvertime: Possible, but not on a regular basisTravel: noneWork Attire: Business CasualDoes the Client Require a Background Check/Drug Test?
