Selectek has an immediate need for a Mechanical Designer that is interested in a long-term role helping with the designing and production of shop drawings for a fabrication team. The role will be responsible for producing fabrication drawings and mechanical equipment layouts using IronCad, but experience with any 3D cad software will be considered (Inventor, Solidworks etc).Candidates will receive information from the sales team and be asked to take existing standard models and detail out the necessary custom adjustments to the model to create the shop drawings to be used in the fabrication shop. Work will also include BOM’s, transferring files for the fabrication team’s plasma cutter, and some basic ducting layouts. This position requires a previous background in a manufacturing setting working with a fabrication team.Required:
