JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for a self-motivated, strategic and creative Marketing Manager with fantastic interpersonal skills to lead market opportunity assessment, marketing strategy development and marketing campaign execution for an assigned business segment. As a Marketing Manager your responsibility will be to ensure that you understand how to identify growth opportunities, engage target customers and shoppers, including Pros and DIYers, and how to develop effective marketing plans for a defined segment. You will build brand awareness and drive new product launches through account-based marketing programs, trade shows and digital, paid media, social, CRM, ecommerce and in-store promotional and merchandising campaigns.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of segment/category performance, strategies and planning.

Manage project deadlines ensuring all campaigns and customer specific projects launch on time, and support driving sales growth.

Interface with the sales team to provide consolidated feedback on program concepts, plans, creativity, imagery, copy, and scripting.

Understand retail market landscape, assess market opportunity for business segment, analyze competitive set, define where to play and how to win with our product portfolio and new products.

Gather insights into target customers, develop personas and map customer journeys to enhance customer user experience.

Understand requirements of assigned projects, gather information/data and feedback, analyze & report on program/project KPI, making recommendations for next steps or future engagements.

Willing to travel to support field engagements and/or corporate sponsorships and tradeshows. (10%-15%)

Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry in specific channels.

Evaluate important metrics to analyze and build go to market strategy.

Lead Account-Based Marketing Programs and collaborate with Sales to drive growth.

Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Detail-oriented; capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with telecom technology and software necessary for job (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-commerce platforms, marketing email automation, and project management tools)

Highly collaborative, motivated, and results-driven; meets commitments by deadlines

Flexible; able to adapt as priorities change

Trustworthy; able to be a team player and establish strong relationships with colleagues, agency leads, and business partners

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Experience with retail data management systems

Experience owning go-to-market plans and delivering results that create customer and business value

Bachelors degree required

4 - 8 years experience in a similar Marketing capacity
