Acquires and evaluates sonographic images and related clinical data. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic data and primary echo diagnosis to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Required registry with Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers the subspecialty of Cardiology.

We are hiring for the following Echocardiograph Technologist positions in the PAMC Echo department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Echocardiograph Technologist - full-time, 0.9 FTE, Variable shift, 36 Hours Per Week ($10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires, and Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires)

Echocardiograph Technologist - per diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable shift, Hours Per Week are as needed, and not guaranteed (no bonus, and no relocation)

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA accredited Ultrasound program (minimum of one year in length) or Impending graduation within 2 months of program completion and approval of hiring manager. Performed a minimum of 600 Echocardiographic exams/and or 800 clinical hours.

Associate's Degree In a related health care field.

Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography OR

Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years Recent full-time experience in Echocardiography.

Recent experience in Pediatric Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography.
