Position Overview:

Cantaloupe, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Event Manager. This role is integral to the planning, coordination, and execution of all event-related activities, ensuring seamless delivery and maximum impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to foster relationships with partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:Assist in the development and execution of the annual event calendar.Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for trade shows, customer conferences, and partner events.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure event objectives are met.On-Site Event Management:

Oversee on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown for shows/events that require a marketing representative to attend and support.Coordinate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations.Manage event staff and volunteers as needed.Partner and Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with the Sr. Director to support partner events and sponsorship activations.Coordinate with partners to secure sponsorship and participation in events, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and partnership strategies.Facilitate communication between partners to ensure partnership deliverables are met and integrated seamlessly into events.Foster relationships with partners to maximize event success.Marketing and Communication:

Assist in developing event marketing materials and communications.Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all event-related content.Promote events through various channels to drive attendance and engagement.Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure cross-channel execution for events pre, during and post-event.Budget Management:

Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.Track expenses and provide regular budget updates to the Sr. Director.Post-Event Analysis:

Collect and analyze event feedback and performance metrics – including lead generation, opportunities and ROI.Provide insights and recommendations for future events.Prepare post-event reports and presentations for stakeholders.Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned as needed to support evolving business objectives and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.5+ years of proven experience in event planning and management.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Proficiency in event management software and tools.Experience managing budgets and financial tracking.Ability to travel as required for events.Why choose Cantaloupe:
