Your impact:

Elle is looking for a designer to join the art departmentto help concept and design print pages and digital packages. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Elle's text and visual editors to see stories through from concept to production. Elle's art department is the premiere source for every aspect of the creative direction for the brand. We are a hard-working small group who thrive on teamwork and having fun. This role reports to the Design Director.

What you'll do:Concept and design pages for the front-of-the bookConcept and design digital stories for .com, social, video and newslettersHelp maintain the Elle US brand across all touch points, internal presentations and design style guidesCollaborate with the editors and photo departments to select and place art across print and digital stories and contentShip pages according to the magazine's monthly scheduleWho you are:

A graphic designer with 2-3 years of experience at a magazine, studio, agency or brandSomeone with a strong interest in typography, fashion, photography, culture and designA skilled multitasker who can see projects through under tight deadlinesYou have strong facility with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma. Adobe After Effects is a plus.

The base salary for this role is between

$67,000 and $68,675 . The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future .

This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
