Summary:
The Watch Designer works with the Bulova design team in a multi-faceted role, encompassing all elements of watch design, from trend and market research, to ideation, rendering, and development. The Designer has a strong interest in jewelry and accessories, with a keen eye for ladies’ product.
Responsibilities:Design new product concepts and updating existing styles for Bulova, and its related brands.Collaborate with the product development team to develop approved styles.Keep abreast of materials, trends and new developments in the watch, jewelry, fashion and accessories industries. Present these findings to the Merchandising team.Qualifications and Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design or another related field plus 2-3 years experience in the watch and/or jewelry industry within a corporate or design-driven consulting studio or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong visual communication skillsAdobe Creative Suite proficiency (Illustrator/Photoshop)Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Familiarity with production methods and processes.Trend and market research skillsFamiliarity with SolidWorks and 3D printing, a plusExperience with delivery of data discovery and data analytics solutions to drive results.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work with an agile, collaborative mindset.Ability to focus on details while identifying key issues and challenges.Ability to work cross functionally across stake holders and matrixed teams.

Annual Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
