We are a San Antonio-based, professional mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design firm.
Job Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develops layouts for HVAC and Plumbing
* Perform design, drawings, and specifications for adaptation and modification of MEP equipment and systems
* Perform calculations to support system designs
* Plan, schedule, conduct and/or coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work
* Attend construction site visits, develop meeting minutes, and site observation reports
* Perform CA tasks, review submittals/shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and attend CA meetings
* As other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
* Proven track record completing projects, strong project planning and delivery experience
* Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication
* Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive and client-focused
* Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines with a high sense of urgency
TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:
* Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, and Revit
* Proficient in Trane Trace 700
* Working knowledge of energy modeling
* Proficient in Bluebeam
* Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
EDUCATION:
* Associate Degree, preferred* LEED AP BD+C, preferred
EXPERIENCE:
* 7+ years of recent experience in Mechanical design with an architectural or MEP firm* Proficient interpersonal skills and experience helping to maintain successful client relationships* Working knowledge of Project Management
