Production Designer

The RoleThe ideal candidate will be a highly motivated person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere with rapidly shifting priorities. They will be able to work successfully with a variety of internal stakeholders and external vendors. In this role, you will format graphics as well as collect, process, and proof various files. This role requires the willingness to understand/learn state-specific regulatory requirements for the cannabis industry.ResponsibilitiesCreate and edit packaging die lines, and artwork withinFollow creative production standards across all branded touch points to insure visual quality controlEnsure that project outputs meet requirements for delivery across multiple channelsEnsure brand consistency across multiple assets, work with multiple identities concurrentlyEnsure project objectives are successfully met through effective collaboration with leadership, internal, cross-divisional, and external partners as projects requireEnsure provided state guidelines and requirements are being met

Qualifications

Agency or in-house corporate creative production experience preferredA strong interest in the technical side of designHas produced technically correct, print- or digital-ready materials, and can provide a portfolio of workAbility to produce independently in a team environmentExtreme attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflowsOrganizational skills, adaptability and composureExcellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective vendor and internal relationshipsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong project management, organizational, and time-management skillsPerforms under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from Design Manager about the work that needs to be completedFollows projects throughout all stages of print production and/or online deploymentInteracts regularly with Senior Production Designer, Design Managers, Brand Directors, and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projectsManages the execution of the work, ensuring that creative projects are completed on timeExperience working within a high-growth company would be highly beneficialAble to operate successfully in a lean, dynamic, fast-paced organization and to turn ideas into concrete action plansMotivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented with strong problem solving skills
